Ground: Intro

Learn about wingfoil setup, wind and weather, conditions watch for while wingfoiling, and how different gear reacts in the water.

 

Learn how to effectively pop up on the board, effectively power and depower the wing, and how to position it to carve upwind.

Water: Intro

Learn to pop up on the foilboard while on the water, keep the foilboard level while standing and while engaging the foil.

 

Work through mastering wingfoil pitch control by leaning to change the heigh and roll and finish with surfing the wake of the Seadoo without the rope.

Wingfoil: Mastery

Learn to use the wing and foilboard on the water, tack upwind without engaging the foil, and change direction using the wing.

 

Practice popping up using the wing, gaining speed with and without engaging the foil, lifting on foil and back down to the water, and changing directions while on foil.

FAQ's

Should i bring a wetsuit to my first wingfoiling

No, you won’t need a wetsuit for step 1 of your progression. Our ground lessons focus on theory and practical skills, so there’s no need to worry about water-related elements at this stage.

What if the weather is bad or there is no wind?

We closely monitor conditions and will reschedule if weather makes the session unsafe or unproductive. But we likely proceed with a lesson if it is raining.

Where can I take wingfoiling lessons in Victoria?

DKP offers wingfoiling ground lessons at Clover Point, and water lessons in the surrounding bays allong Dallas Rd.

How much do wingfoiling lessons cost in Victoria?

Prices range by session type. Ground lessons start at CA$134.99/hour(tax included), and wing + foil water lessons are CA$423.99/2.5hours (tax included) with all gear included (except a wetsuit).

Are wingfoiling lessons safe for beginners?

Yes. Our lessons are designed for beginners, starting with ground-based sessions that focus entirely on wing and foil control. With expert instructors and jet ski support, you’ll learn in a safe, controlled environment built for confidence and fast progression.

How long does it take to learn to wingfoil?

Most students complete the intro wingfoiling progression in about 5 hours, but everyone learns at their own pace — some take less, some take a bit more.
